Your income can suddenly decrease because of tremendous circumstances like death or physical disability. Your expenses start to increase and you start to constantly worry about your credit commitments, but there is a way to deal with expenses incurred by unforeseen happenings.
Mortgage life protection and mortgage payment protection are the two types of insurance. Mortgage life protection covers payments in your mortgage in the event of your death. On the other hand, mortgage payment covers monthly payments in the event that you lose your job or become gravely ill.
How does home mortgage payment protection work?
You make your payments (which are tax-deductible) to your creditor, and receive benefits that are paid along with other benefits. Premiums are pre-calculated in association with the decreasing death benefit, so they stay fixed. The rate provided by a policy can vary depending on different factors like how old you are and if you are a smoker or not.
Advantages:
There are many advantages of mortgage life insurance and one of them is that it offers you an affordable means to give your family protection and security while paying off your mortgage balance if death occurs. This insurance can give your family the benefit of spending for other living necessities and personal expenses. In its essence, mortgage protection involves you paying a fixed premium during a period of time and your insurance pays off your mortgage at the event of unemployment, illness or death. Here are the advantages:
- Affordable and optimal coverage – Flexible policies – Financial difficulties are eased – Policies have fixed premiums for everyone and are available to younger individuals, who have tighter budgets – You can have control over the pre-payment of your mortgage – Mortgage payment protection gives you time to regain employment. The state will no longer aid those who have lost their jobs – Even if your mortgage has already been paid off, your beneficiaries can still receive remaining death benefits – You can reissue your mortgage protection policy if you refinance your mortgage
Who Qualifies?
- Almost anyone qualifies for a protection plan, no matter what sex or age – You are able to obtain joint coverage for you and your spouse
Where To Get Home Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance:
- Establishments that organizes your mortgage – You can get mortgage life insurance through your mortgage lender at a cheaper rate.
What You Want To Do:
- Start saving larger amounts of mortgage interest – Own your own home at a sooner time
Downsides:
Mortgage life insurance pays for the mortgage in the event of the individuals death while private mortgage insurance allows them to keep their homes. Mortgage protection coverage pays only your mortgage balance. If you default, private mortgage insurance only partially covers your loan.
Some expenses, charges and risks are involved with some types of life insurance because they can be sold by prospectus. Review pamphlets carefully before jumping into an investment or plan. It is always best to contact with your tax advisor or attorney for information that is free and does not require commitment.

Resolved Question: Homeowners Insurance: What is replacement value for my home?
I’m getting new homeowners policy. What is per square foot to re-build my home in Southern California? Middle-class neighborhood, nothing fancy. Built in 1968.
Resolved Question: gas line replacement and homeowners insurance?
what is usually covered in homeowners insurance policies?
Resolved Question: My house was hit by a car?
9 months ago, the house that I rent was hit by a rental car. The speed limit on the road is 35. Thankfully my family was not home at the time. When the car crashed through our house, it sent the table flying, thus destroying most everything in the room (it was our dining and computer rooms). We were a bit slow on getting together what the insurance company had requested (itemized list and value), because the gas and electricity was turned off, and our house was subsequently condemned.
I was on the phone with Unitrin (the girls personal car insurance) and made a claim. I asked about some sort of temp housing for my family and was told that was out of the question, as they weren’t sure whose fault it was. I told the agent I understood, as im sure it is rather difficult to determine if the driver or the house was at fault. Then I spent the next hour trying to tell him it was undoubtedly his insureds fault, my family had no where to go, and our house had been condemned. The Womens Center put us up in a hotel for a few nights at their expense.
After dozens of calls throughout the next few weeks, I was told to make an itemized list of all the damages. That took a while…..after I submitted it, the agent emailed me and said I needed to provide a replacement value for the items, and any recipts (we dont keep those things past a week). We spent many hours researching and finding prices for everything. Sent it back off to the guy. Then he writes back and tells me that I have not provided info as to when the items were purchased and if they were just damaged or destroyed, (and the valuation of a claim such as mine would also take depreciation into account), and they will estimate the value of my claim based on these things.
I might add also, that they sent NO ONE to look at my house, or view the damages. I did take photos of the condition of everything.
I am told that the drivers insurance only pays up to $10,000. My claim alone was almost that much. I am also told that there are 3 claims for this incident, mine, the rental car agency, as well as the homeowners insurance. I do not see how this is. I thought the purpose of having homeowners insurance was so they would pay if anything happened. I do not feel that I should have to take a loss in this matter. Also, the accident happened late April of 09. I still have not recieved an offer from unitrin. Is there some kind of time limit they have? Do I really have to settle for whatever they offer, or is there something further that I can do?
Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Open Question: Help advise a teen in pursuit of an emancipation.?
I am 16 and I’ve decided I’m going to work for an emancipation.
Now please, I understand that there will be the mutual urge to say “don’t jump”, in almost every single search I’ve done that’s been the general consensus of the repliers, to not move out and to accommodate to whatever conditions there are that would make a teenager such as myself want an emancipation.
That being said, I want any advice you can give me. Just please don’t make the entire reply about how I need to not do this.
Anyways, this is the plan so far.
-Obtain a job, one that i can progress in.
-Save money, about five-thousand dollars.
-Exert gratuitous amounts of effort into my work/education.
-Calculate expenses. Possibly find a room mate
-Begin emancipation process. (I.e. discuss with Mother, query courts)
That’s the general idea.
In addition, I’ve composed a coarse list of what I’ll expect to pay into, as far as expenses.
-Living accommodations (Apartment, etc..)
-Utilities
-Renter’s insurance
-Bills
-Tax? (Not sure how taxes work exactly)
-Cable/Internet (Not completely necessary, although convenient)
-Car insurance/Maintenance/Fuel
-Food (Food stamps maybe?)
-Health insurance/Co pays
It would be much appreciated if you were to advise me on what else I will need to pay for, and if all of the things on my current list are even necessary.
I need all the advice I can get, please help by giving detailed responses.
I realize that I’ve not said much about who I am, and the reason behind this is that people have a tendency to focus on my tale and my back ground rather than the issue I would like assistance with.
Sorry if this bothers anybody, but it was an endeavor to recieve better results.
Thank you for your time,
Cheers.

Open Question: Renting a car in Puerto Rico?
I will be going to Puerto Rico in a little over a week and am trying to decide about a car rental. Not whether or not to do it because we will be renting a car (we have hotels in a few different places), but about what options to get with the rental. I currently have three reservations. One is for Thrifty, one is Budget, one is Enterprise. I am trying to decide which to cancel and what insurance/options I need. My insurance- I have full coverage- covers me in Puerto Rico. My husband’s insurance company- though he also has full coverage- does not cover Puerto Rico. He will be doing most of the driving (because of what I have read about the driving there I am afraid to drive there, esp. in San Juan).
So…
THRIFTY
Rental is at airport and we would have it from when we land until we leave. Total Base Rate for a compact car is $136.45 (5 days @ $27.29/day with Unlimited Miles)…this does not include their extra options of the Loss Damage Waiver ($15/day), Personal Protection Plan ($6/day), Supplemental Liability Ins ($8/day). I believe they also charge extra for additional drivers even if the additional driver is a spouse.
Thrifty requires the purchase of Loss Damage Waiver if you don’t show proof that your insurance will cover a rental car in PR. From their website: LDW is Optional If customer is paying with a credit card that extends coverage options to PUERTO RICO or renter presents verification of personal insurance coverages at rental counter. Personal insurance must be accompanied by a letter stating that the customers insurance policy will cover the rental car in Puerto Rico. All credit cards and insurances are subject to verification and acceptance at rental counter. If neither stipulation is met -
customer will be required to purchase LDW cost USD 14.95 – 16.95/day. Optional Third Party Liability cost USD 7.95/day If LDW is declined is MANDATORY for customer to purchase the Third Party Liability and would be responsible for the full value of the vehicle.
BUDGET
Same car class, same rental period is $234. Spouse is free as additional driver. Their add-on options are:
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) Protects you if car is damaged or stolen. 19.95/day
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) 10.95/day
Personal Accident and Effects (PAE) 4.95/day
ENTERPRISE
I have this rental set up as picking up the morning after we arrive because it would be $300 for the same rental period as the others but by picking it up the next morning instead, the rental is only $97 for an intermediate class car. Spouse is free. Their only add on option is the LDW for $20/day.
I think enterprise is the best option but my husband doesn’t want to deal with going back to the airport to get the car/cabs/etc.
My real question- is the LDW really worth the cost? Considering the driving style there? And if you have rented a car at SJU, what was a good company to go through? I have read about thrifty being out of cars despite reservations, etc..

Choosing a life insurance policy for many Canadians is not apparent or understandable. Why do we get life insurance at any rate? Protection for our families and loved ones. Right?
It is supposed that life insurance is for those with big debt loads, young families, and young careers who desire to protect their families. They are utilizing life insurance to prepare for a tragedy.
But what about buyers who are in a later season in life, when the debt load is reduced and the kids start flying the coop? Thinking they are making a financially sound choice, many people stop buying life insurance. A few dollars might have been saved, but they have put their family at risk.
If you assume life insurance is expensive, it may not be what you think. Life insurance rates have dramatically dropped in the last ten years. The ten million Canadians who are in their forties and fifties can buy life insurance at very low rates.
You can choose from many different policies to guard your family and your wallet as you get older. For the near future, a term life policy may be smarter, safer, and cheaper. But in the long term, you can decide on permanent life insurance where you can choose from traditional whole life, universal whole life, and variable whole life insurance.
If you want to save money and still keep your loved ones secure, these options will help prepare the future.
To get the most guarantees, traditional whole life is the best option. The certainties include minimum cash value and death benefits as well as yearly premiums. Earnings from the dividends can increase cash value or death benefits with the majority of whole life policies.
The premiums with universal life are very flexible, especially early on in the policy. You can get assured minimum cash value and death benefits along with maximum assured premiums with universal life. Universal polices can gain interest at a assured rate every year, opposed to earning dividends.
There is also variable life, which is for the more well-informed risk taker. Variable life has the fewest guarantees and because of that, it offers the greatest potential for cash value increases. Obligatory annual premiums and guaranteed death benefits come with variable life.
It can be very valuable for you familys future to get life insurance regardless of how tricky it can be. Receive great deals and expert council at www.infoprimes.com for life insurance that meets your needs.

It does not matter what type of vehicle you drive, you need to buy the right car insurance that is appropriate to your car and to your lifestyle. One of the most practical ways to lower the premium cost is to consider the type of car that you drive. Be aware that different car models have different premium costs. The reason for this is that the premium that you pay is based on algorithms that your insurance company use to determine the exact cost they will pay once you make a claim. This results in various premium rates. To cite an example, Toyota insurance may cost less as compared to insuring an expensive sports car. Lamborghini insurance will cost you much more than Corolla insurance because the Lamborghini has a higher risk of being stolen or vandalized.
Aside from shopping around for the best deals at CarInsurance180, you can also turn to various articles that would help you come to an informed decision as well as to help you understand your policy better. To determine the best car insurance for you, consider the following tips:

Always go for reputable comparison sites such as CarInsurance180 to guarantee that you are getting only the most accurate quotes.

It is just a matter of comparing and assessing each policy yourself. After all, what better way to compare quotes than to do it at the comfort of your own home?

As the name suggests, home insurance is insurance designed to protect the home. In addition to the actual housing structure, this type of insurance protects any claimed items within the house as well as the property itself. Most major insurance companies provide coverage for damage and accidents in most situations.
The typical home insurance policy will provide coverage for all the personal belongings of the policy holder and their family for accidental damage. For example, something as simple as a leaky roof could damage walls, ceilings, carpets, and a host of personal items. Most home insurance policies will cover this type of accident and those policies that do not cover leaks in the standard policy generally offer riders instead.
Tree branches falling on a car is another scenario that is covered by most home insurance policies. These are events over which you have no control and the insurance is there to protect you from this and many other natural disasters. Having this type of security will help give you peace of mind when it comes to your property and family.
Typically, a well thought out and thorough home insurance policy will cover other types of accidents as well. Picture this scenario, a visitor slips and falls on private property results in a lawsuit. The property owner could very well be deemed responsible for expensive hospital bills. Home accident insurance would cover the property owner in this case.
The sheer amount of insurance providers in today’s marketplace can be confusing or intimidating to some consumers. Thankfully, online searches have made it possible to narrow the field a bit. A simple search allows consumers to compare and contrast different policies from the comfort of their own home to decide which particular policy is best for their home needs.
Many of these providers have 24/7 support online to answer any specific questions you may have regarding policies and coverage. Potential consumers can also send an email to the company to inquire further about services and pricing. Many also have a locator service to find an agent in your area to allow a more personal interaction.
The claims services offered by many of the providers include a 24-hour response period for many types of claims. They realize that if an issue is large enough to warrant filing a claim, then it needs to be handled as quickly and efficiently as possible. Mobile response units are available for dispatch in many areas.
It is also possible to file claims on the websites of many insurance providers. This is helpful for parties on both sides of the claim. It is easy for the policy holder to file the claim. Likewise, the insurance company has time to review the claim before sending someone out. This expedites the entire process, reduces paperwork, and generally makes it easier for the policy holder to get on with his or her life.

Car insurance is many things but cheap is not one of them. The ones that feel the sting of the high cost of insurance are the newly licensed teenage drivers. By shopping around and requesting cheap car insurance quotes, they may be able to ease this burden a bit.
By conducting an online search, cheap car insurance quotes may be received from as many providers as you would like to request them from. This may take a little of your time and effort, but the money saved will make it well worth it. Each quote should come with coverage details and a pricing guide for any additional coverage above and beyond the basic policy request.
New drivers have more than a few options when it comes to car insurance. They can get their own policy or be added to an existing policy held by their parents depending on the new driver’s age. This option works well for teenagers and college students. However, it might not be a viable solution for older drivers who have no documented driving history.
Many people who have lived in a major metropolitan city sometimes have never had the need to own a car as public transportation was readily available and easily accessible. A job change or relocation into more rural areas can cause a need for car ownership. Here is where cheap car insurance quotes come in to play with helping you to get on the road quickly and affordably.
With so many providers available, it may be difficult to choose the right one. Luckily, the Internet lets you compare several different companies without ever having to leave your home. No phone calls or trips to the local insurance sales office are needed. Conducting a quick search online will reveal a world of money-saving opportunities.
The forms on these websites are fairly simple to fill out and submit. Your name, address, age and a few short details about your driving record are usually more than enough for the company to generate cheap car insurance quotes and either send it to you via email or have it appear instantly on your screen. Very rarely will much more be asked of you for just a quote. When purchasing a policy, however, the details may be a little more extensive.
Each of these websites offer online payment arrangements so that if the quote found is acceptable, the policy may be purchased right then and there. A temporary insurance card will then be available to be printed out for use until the proper one arrives by regular mail. This works well if the need to drive is an immediate one.
By taking the time to research all of the options available and request an individual cheap car insurance quote from each provider, an informed decision can be reached. Read all of the details and fine print on the policies very carefully before agreeing to or paying for any coverage. Be sure you are getting exactly what you want.
If you want to obtain cheap car insurance quotes today or if you are searching for more free information just visit this website, click here for: cheap car insurance!

The goal of any consumer is to get the best deal on the best product. It is no different for insurance. There is always a possibility that someone else could be offering the same policy for a much lower price. When consumers are concerned about what their automobile insurance is costing them, they should get auto insurance quotes online, as they can get it fast and start saving money quickly.
Getting auto insurance quotes online is going to allow the individual to receive quotes from several different companies. The fact is that insurance companies understand they are in a major competition and each one will try to offer the consumer the best deal. By obtaining an online quote, anyone will be able to fully determine who has the best policy at the best rate.
If the driver were to try to obtain each quote on their own by calling each individual company, they would find out just how time-consuming this task can be. In addition, the driver can also call to request a quote and then may have to wait twenty-four hours or more for his or her phone call to be returned. This, of course, delays the decision.
Before beginning the search for auto insurance quotes online, be sure to have all the pertinent information nearby for the forms that will be needed to be filled out. A driver’s license and the vehicle information are normally the only two pieces of information required for these forms. Have the vehicle identification number and the mileage written down as well.
Once the information above has been submitted into the online request form, the driver must then wait just a few moments to receive their quotes. If the consumer is unaware of the various options they may have in liability coverage or medical expenses covered by insurance, he or she should do some research. This will help determine what amount of coverage is needed.
The mistake that many consumers make after getting auto insurance quotes online is to simply choose the lowest priced company. However, there are other things that must be considered such as the actual coverage on the policy, the reputation of the company and the customer support that is offered. Without taking these factors into consideration, the individual may end up with the cheapest coverage by a company that offers very little in the way of customer satisfaction.
Once enough information has been gathered and a choice has been made to change companies, you may want to discuss options with your current provider first. There is a good chance, upon finding out you want to change, that they may come up with some discounts of their own to match the quotes in order to keep you as their customer. This works particularly well if you are in their low risk category and have a good history with them.
As stated in the beginning, the goal of every consumer is to get the best coverage for the least amount of money. When considering how much insurance is needed, it is always a great idea to get auto insurance quotes online. Not only is it a faster way to obtain quote results, but you will find that the quotes you receive are often the best in the industry.
