Resolved Question: will my homeowner insurance pay what the policy says is covered even if it’s not worth the policy value?
if something was to happen to my home or outbuilding/garage, will my home owners insurance pay for what my policy reads even if the dwelling or garage isn’t worth the policy value? For example, my detached garage is not in the same condition it once was, it is looking pretty worn out. If my garage is covered for $10,000 replacement value and something happens to it, will my insurance cover it for what the policy reads? Or should I have them come out and reassess the value of it so I can save some money on my premium?

Resolved Question: why is my life like this?
I am kinda in a bind. I graduated a few months ago and did not work because of school. Anyway, I have been looking for work since graduation and I have found a civil service job about 30 minutes from my home. I have been in school for a long time, and I need to work for money and health insurance, just like everyone else on this planet. I have been too long without working. Anyway, I have one problem and that is my mother. She is dead set against me taking the job. Because she feels that the hours are horrible ( its from 3 to 11pm) and if I do take the job, she will not be able to travel during xmas holiday to see my sister, because she doesn’t want me to be alone for the holidays. Since I will have to stay home and not travel when starting a new job. I am working on driving because I haven’t driven in a while since I lived on campus. So she is worried about that. You normally, would say, why do you care about what your mother says, the problem is she obsesses about it, makes herself sick, and then ends up in the hospital with her constant dwelling on these things I need to do. She does go to therapy and takes medications but I don’t know how much of it she listens too. Then I feel guilty about the whole thing. I am well over 25 years old, I am not a kid. I don’t know what to do? please don’t make fun, its a serious problem, I have struggled with for so long, I am so tired of it. I kinda feel like drew barrymore character in grey gardens.
