Open Question: Has anyone had a bad experience with Moss Brothers in San Bernardino?
Horrible repair service. Go in for one repair and leave with more damage. Customer service is terrible; they are rude and in my opinion corrupt. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. Had to repair radiator which is covered by warranty, went in to get it repaired and stated that the radiator was damage bc we went over a speed bump/dip very hard and fast so basically we created the damage (totally false, we did not) so they know for sure that warranty will not cover it since we were the ones to damage the part, now we would have to pay for all of the parts and labor plus the diagnosis fee. As I disputed their claim that we were the ones to do this by “going over a speed bump” they then suggested we call our car insurance carrier and claim it as an accident so they can pay for it! That is fraud, we were never in an accident, I have been driving for 14 years and have never had a claim and will certainly not fail a fake one. I feel that they work with our warranty company so we can not get anything approved, I have a bumper to bumper power train warranty that I pay a lot of money for each month, but they always find a loop hole so my warranty will not cover it. Had a problem with them before with my A/C unit – but fought with them on that one and got everything covered, only went back to them this time bc its the nearest dealer to our home and everyone says to get our car repaired by the dealer. NEVER AGAIN, I have learned my lesson with these people.

Open Question: How can a home owner association raise money?
Our HOA is almost bankrupt and cannot afford to file liens on delinquent members’ houses. Who can be contacted to help? We need to raise extra money so we can afford to put a lien on a house and collect fees. About 25% of the members do not pay and there are 75 houses in our neighborhood. The HOA only pays for insurance, street lights, night patrol (that does not come by hardly ever), and lawn care for just the surrounding area of the neighborhood. Also, our neighborhood has a “temporary” sewage pump station that was installed five years ago and is extremely expensive to maintain. The city stated to the developers that they may or may not take over the sewer system and there has not been a reply. The pump station is on its last limb and there is no money to fix it when it does break. Plus, the power company turned off the neighborhood lights because of insufficient funds. I am just a member and not on the board and just found out, today, that the association was so bad off. There has been absolutely no notification to anyone. Several members said that if they had known they would have paid the bills so the lights could have stayed on. However, one good thing that I have found in this situation is that we have a lot of active members that are willing to pull together to overcome these obstacles. We just need to know what to do exactly. I live in Alabama and this subdivision was built 5 years ago (I don’t know all of the info that you need to answer my questions) Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Open Question: Is my PC likely to be covered by my home insurance?
My PC recently suffered accidental damage and I have lost my policy documents. As the insurance company won’t be open until Monday I thought I should ask here – Is my PC likely to be covered by my home insurance? I have standard cover with additional accidental damage cover attached. Secondly, are they likely to replace the whole machine or just the parts (CPU & Hard-drive) that appear to be broken? Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance.
Thanks for the warning, my last claim was two years ago. I believe the excess is £100 (as I’m in the UK). I had an accident and broke the machine, isn’t it likely to be covered by the accidental cover I have? Ring the company on Monday I guess.
