Resolved Question: can your apartment manager just do this?
ok i don’t know if this is my pregnancy hormones or if this would really make someone mad but…
i live in apartments.. and i left for a week to visit my parents…i did not ask my manager to collect my mail or feed the fish…i had everything under control.. and i was expecting some important mail from my doctor and insurance plus my light bill…well i got back thursday with no mail in my box i asked her about it because this is not the first time i have left and came home to find all the mail on my coffee table…anyways she said she told the mail man to give it to her and we had none…now today i went to check yesterday’s mail and found that she put a vacant note in my mail box and for the mail mail not to put mail in there…i still have not gotten any mail that i have been expecting and i need it !! i don’t know if after seeing that he took it back to the post office or what…but i am so mad ..how can she do that with out telling me?
also she told me she came in my house everyday and fed the fish for me..
i know thats its not illegal because they have to have the other set of keys but can they just let thierself in with out me knowing?
im am so mad about this i don’t know what to do…my husband has been away so its just me here and it really makes me scared that she feels she can just let herself in like that…
is it just something i have to deal with? should i not be mad about it?
thankfully we are moving at the end of the month ..i don’t think i could stay here longer knowing she feels free to let herself in and handle my mail..
is there anything i can do about the mail? its my medical insurance, my doctor, car insurance info and my light bill that i was expecting…all of that is confidental

Resolved Question: I’m renting my house out and now my insurance company won’t cover me!?
Our house has been vacant and on the market for 5 months with no bites. We have a neighbor who wants to rent it, and then possibly buy it when she has saved up some cash.
Problem is, my homeowners insurance company will not give me a landlord policy if my house is still for sale.
Any suggestions?
