florida child support refuses to acknowledge this i have moved to texas and back trying to get back on my feet and to stop living from place to place i am starting school next week and actually renting a decent house i only make $10 an hour and its been 4 months since i have been able to pay now that i have a car and a place and a job now i am ready to pay them back my question is does anyone know how to get child support lowered they say they can only do it once every 3 years in which officially i have 2 more years left before they will do that both of my kids moms live with their parents so my 2 kids are well taken care of and my sons mom works i have both of them every weekend i am not a dead beat dad but child support has suspended my license and put a hold on letting me get a registration which is going to get my car insurance cancelled and get me fined they want almost 2 thousand to get my stuff back and want me 2 pay 700 a month which is way more than half of what i now make does anyone know how to get them to let me pay my fair amount and get my stuff back i need my car to go to colledge i starty next week

my ex husband didn’t have insurance on his car. he was in a car accident and now the insurance companies for the other 2 cars involved are suing him.

Something I’ve never understood: taking money from the populous voluntarily via taxes (and it is voluntary, you chose to live in the US) and distributing it amongst a large portion of the populous = bad. Taking money from the populous voluntarily via spending and redistributing that money to a microscopic portion of the populous = good *confused*
