Voting Question: Caould anyone – a native English speaker – read and correct the mistakes please?
Here’s a dialogue I wrote for my students. Could you help me by reading it and correcting mistakes if there are any? I’m also worried about the style – as a foreign speaker I can miss some nuances – I want it to sound as authentic as possible. Thank you. Here it is:

A JOB INTERVIEW

Kate: Hallo, I have read your ad in a local newspaper. You are searching for an experienced secretary who “would be happy to work for your company for 3-5 half days a week”.
Manager: Yeah, that’s right. Are you familiar with the list of requirements of the job to which you’re applying?
Kate: Yeah, I have a driving license, I have been driving for three years, I can type fast, I can manage correspondence, I know MS Office, I have simple book keeping skills, besides, and I speak the English and German languages fluently. Is the position still vacant?
Manager: Yes it is, we need someone with good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Please tell me about yourself.
Kate: I’m 25, live in the centre, I have a family. I worked as a secretary for an insurance company for two years. I think I am a flexible personality and can work as part of a team.
Manager: Are you currently working as a secretary?
Kate: No, I have just moved in a new flat and I’m therefore searching a job that would be closer to my home.
Manager: Why do you want to work for us?
Kate:
Manager: How well do you work with people? Do you prefer working alone or in teams?
Kate: I have never worked independently I have always been a member of and I am sure I am good at it.
Manager: What did you like about your last job?
Kate: I liked that I was really able to develop my skills. Like all people I had the normal ups and downs but my colleagues were friendly and supportive. My boss could always rely on me because I worked hard to improve myself.
Manager: Could you describe a typical day at your last job?
Kate: Why not? I came to work ten minutes before the working day started to turn on the computer and make the boss his morning coffee. Then I got down to work – I provided secretarial support such as typing letters, copying, faxing if necessary, sorting and distributing post. I received and distributed telephone and email messages and assisted with arranging meetings. I translated letters from German and English into Russian and vice versa. I had lunch at 1 p.m. and finished work at 5.
Manager: How long did your working day last?
Kate: Normally eight hours, but sometimes I worked overtime.
Manager: How many tines a year have you been on a sick leave?
Kate: I have not been on a sick leave this year. I seldom get ill.
Manager: Do you have any question concerning this position?
Kate: Yes. What is the probation period?
Manager: 2 Month
Kate: What does the salary come to?
Manager: 8$ per hours during the first two months and 12$ later on.
Kate: Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to speak with me. I am extremely interested in the position and feel that my qualifications, skills and secretarial experience really makes me a strong candidate. Lastly, I would like to say that I really want the job, and I hope you will offer it to me.
Manager: Yeah, If we make the decision to hire you, you will get a formal offer letter.
Kate: I look forward to working in your company.
Thanks to all of you very-very much
